Cadet Electric Heater Register Plus Wall Heaters

Cadet Electric Heater Register Plus Wall Heaters: Cadet RMC202W, Cadet Heater RMC162W, Cadet Heater RMC151W, Cadet Heater RMC208W, Cadet Heater RM202, Cadet Heater RM162, Cadet Heater RM151, Cadet Heater RM208, Cadet Heater RM108, Cadet Heater RM222, Cadet "Register Plus" Electric Heater Accessories

General Information:
The Register Plus is Cadet's premier fan forced heater line and is often chosen for its similar appearance to central system register vents. Models are offered with both fixed and multi-watt capabilities (multi-watt models factory preset at their maximum wattage). A large squirrel cage blower quietly provides increased airflow allowing for lower surface and air-at-surface temperatures. Cadet recommends a wall-mounted thermostat for optimum performance, or you may prefer the convenience of an optional field mount thermostat kit.

Architectural Information:
Fan forced electric air heaters shall be UL Listed, factory rated at 120V, 208V, or dual field rated from 208V to 240V. A 20 gauge wall mounting can with four knockouts shall be provided with each complete heater. The element and blower shall be of unitized construction and shall attach to wall can with a single screw. Elements shall be steel-finned type, with an oversized 25 amp rating at 240V high temperature manual reset limit switch and an over-temperature thermal backup. A tangential cylindrical blower delivering approximately 60 CFM (RM202), and 50 CFM (RM162 and RM151) shall be driven by an impedance protected motor with permanently lubricated, vibration isolated, dust sealed bearings. Metal grill shall be of one piece construction and finished with a powder coat paint system.

Technical Information:
A thermostat is required. For optimum comfort use a Cadet electronic thermostat or a dual diaphragm thermostat. Fan heaters and thermostats work best when installed on an inside wall. A double pole, integral thermostat may be installed in the field. UL requires heater to be placed a minimum distance of 6" (15,2 cm) from adjacent surfaces and 4.5" (11,4 cm) from the floor. Manufacturer recommends installation of 12" from all surfaces. A 3' (91.44cm) minimum clearance is recommended for furniture or other objects placed directly in front of heater.

NOTE: Manufacturer recommends installing heater assembly after walls are finished. However, if installation is necessary before walls are finished, use the paint mask provided. Heater must be cleaned every six months minimum.
