Dual Inputs

Energy saving features, such as load-shedding and daylight harvesting, are easy to implement with the dual-input technology of PerSONNA Systems™ and Eco-10™ IR. With these products, an infrared (IR) receiver and a 3-wire input work together to combine personal lighting control with system control.

PerSONNA System works with up to twenty Lutron 3-wire ballasts to implement combined personal and system control. Eco-10 IR offers similar functionality, but with the ability to receive infrared signals designed into the ballast. For both products, the3-wire input sets the maximum light output and the IR input allows for individual fixture control through a handheld remote or PDA.

Infrared control

If system control is not required, Eco-10 IR may be operated without a 3-wire input to provide individual fixture control through the infrared receiver. Additionally, PerSONNA can be used to add personal control to any Lutron 3-wire ballast.
